Chilwell Manor Golf Club has a vibrant junior’s section with boy and girl members from 10-18 years inclusive. The junior members at Chilwell Manor Golf Club have ample opportunity to play on the course and enjoy their golf.
Throughout the Season, a variety of different competitions are held regularly, giving those who would like to play more competitive golf the chance to, as well as catering for the more casual golfer who wants to simply get out on the course for some practice or a social game.

The Professional at Chilwell offers a range of lessons and workshops for juniors of all abilities to be to able learn golf from scratch or to improve their game. All junior members up to and including year 11 will receive 3 individual lessons with the Professional.
Chilwell Manor Golf Club became a Golf Roots Centre in August 2018 and a Junior Golf Development Hub from May 2022. This is as a result of our close working relationship with local schools and the wider community. Accreditation was also supported by The Golf Foundation, England Golf and Nottinghamshire Junior Golf
We actively work with Primary and Secondary schools to promote a golfing experience for all young people in the community. Complete beginners, from a very young age, are welcome to attend our Sunday group coaching. This is an increasingly popular route to very affordable junior membership.
Our thriving junior section sees our young golfers, parents and staff collaborate to provide the best possible experience for our younger members. This includes access to Monday evening practice sessions in the season, Winter Coaching and the opportunity to gain a handicap and take part in competitions. Our major aim is to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to experience playing golf because, in the words of the Golf Foundation, ... 'Golf can change lives'
